generic_scanner.xsd

Anyone have any pointers to documentation around generic_scanner.xsd? Aside from the obvious, and the list of attack types from within the file itself. Does anyone know how ASM process the file and how it uses some of the elements. attack_type, name, url, parameter are self explanitory.

    Did you get any kind of answer on this? I'm also looking for documentation or guidance for generic_scanner.xsd schema usage.

    So, I did not. I even reached out to some SEs that I know pretty well, and really received nothing. I went ahead myself and started playing with the file and imports and have some quasi documentation on what the file is supposed to look like.

      Thanks for the feedback. I'll probably do the same when I have some time, hopefully before I need it for a client.
