folks I have a client where ftp transfer takes longer than 1 hour to transfer. is there anyway i can change ftp timeout to more than 1 hour on ltm? and if answer is yes where do i do it?
L4L7_53191Create a custom tcp profile and set the idle timeout to be whatever makes sense for your setup. Note that this is a real common issue on the control channel, and it's possible that some other device between the BigIP and client will time the socket out (a remote firewall, for example).
Just something to think about. Active FTP is much trickier.
