FTP and HTTP on same virtual server

Hello,     I am newbie to F5 course can someone please explain me why we cant associate FTP and HTTP profile to same virtual server.       Thanks for your help and time.       ...

You can create one HTTP virtual server on port 80 which points to a pool of web servers on 10.1.1.1, .2 and .3 on port 80. You can create a separate FTP virtual server with an FTP profile which points to a pool of FTP servers on 10.1.1.1, .2 and .3 on port 21.
