Nov 04, 2008Firepass banner/logo Customization
Hi,
1. My four firepass devices were on v6.0.2
2. Initially, I had an old-logo displayed on the logon/home/logout pages. Later on, I had updated them with new-logos which appeared fine until the v6.0.2 was upgraded to v6.0.3
3. Post upgrade, one of the device started displaying the old-logo to the users (all others display the correct new-logo).
4. When I login as admin to the device which displays the incorrect (old-logo), I still notice that the device Customization page displays the new-logo (correct one), yet, the users see the incorrect logo displayed to their logon/logout pages.
Is this caching the old-logo somewhere?. Pls advise, thank you!.

Hey jpc,
I don't think so...did you try clearing the Portal Access cache cause that's the only cache i can think of. Under Portal Access -> Web Applications -> Caching and Compression? Otherwise is there a cache external to the FirePass that may be doing this?
Cheers,

Hi mal,
Thanks much for your time. Just figured out that the culprit was an enabled virtual customization IP which overrides the global settings... the virtual IP was pointing to an incorrect logo. Also, learnt that there is an internal cache within the FirePass to which only the F5 techs could ssh and modify.
Thx again,
JPC
