Aug 20, 2008Hey Florian,
Wow...the good old FirePass 600! Haven't seen one of them in a long while. Florian the short answer is that the FirePass 600 was aged out a fair while ago as was support for the 5.4.x branch of software. The current latest release is 6.0.2 with the newest 6.0.3 release due out very soon (next month from what i hear). In order to run this new software which has support for stuff like iPhones, FireFox3, Windows Vista, etc you'll need to get a new box and upgrade to 6.0.3 on that new box. Given you're on a 600 platform now the closest platform would be the FirePass 1200 which is a 1RU box and scales up to 100 concurrent users. Check out - http://www.f5.com/pdf/products/firepass-hardware-ds.pdf for more details.
Hope this helps you out!
Cheers,
Mal
