Firefox 3.5 and Firepass OPSWAT detection

How do we get Firepass client to work with Firefox 3.5?

I've upgraded the browser for testing and the component specifically states that it's not compatible with Firefox 3.5

  • If you see the error message : " F5 Networks Host Plugin xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx could not be installed because it is not compatible with FireFox 3.5"

try to install the latest HF603-3 hotfix which includes some support for Firefox 3.5
  • I'm getting the 'F5 networks Host Plugin 6030.2008.0904.1940 could not be installed because it is not compatible with Firefox 3.5.' error messaage and can't find the fix on either F5 or Mozilla web sites.

Where can I get that hotfix?
  • FWIW... found it: "Mozilla Firefox 3.5 was released on June 30th, 2009. For FirePass version 6.0.2, F5 Networks issued cumulative hotfix HF-602-11 to provide Firefox 3.5 support. For FirePass version 6.0.3, F5 Networks issued cumulative hotfix HF-603-4 to provide Firefox 3.5 support. You may download these hotfixes or later versions of the cumulative hotfixes from the F5 Networks Downloads site."
