Find the total number of blades in a Viprion 4800 chassis
what is the easiest way to find the number of blades in a Viprion 4800 F5 ? I usually use the command - "tmsh show sys hardware" which lists: Slot Status Slot Status 1 powered-up 2 powered-up 3 powered-up 4 unpopulated 5 unpopulated 6 unpopulated 7 unpopulated 8 unpopulated but, is there an alternative way of finding such information. Also, i know that we can find this out from the GUI.. but if I want to script it out, i need to find an alternate way.
thanks,

thanks srikanthknprm, that works as well. Do u also know if there is a way to find out which blade the serial number belongs to.
Example: * Host Board Serial bld001234s * Host Board Serial bld002345s * Host Board Serial bld003456s
I get the serial number but I do not know which blade it belongs to.
thankyou,

Try this one:
clsh tmsh show sys hardware | grep -E '=== slot |Host Board Serial'.

Recently I was kind of need to find information about how many slots available in a viprion 4800 chassis and this SNMP OID helped me:
[root@]snmpwalk -v2c -c Community_string localhost .1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.1.10.3.1 F5-BIGIP-SYSTEM-MIB::sysChassisSlotNumber.0 = INTEGER: 8
