Fallback persistence within an iRule

We have an iRule setup that sets cookie persistence based on the iRule matching part of the uri. Cookie persistence is working well for some users, however some have cookies disabled. Is there a way to set a fallback persistence via the iRule if cookie persistence fails?

    I don't know of a way to set the fallback persistence type via an iRule. I know you can easily set it at the Virtual Server layer.

     

     

    If it must be done in an iRule you might be better off coming up with a solution similar to the one explained in this post:
