Failover
cpt_ri_F5 The F5 will failover when any routed interface goes down by default so you do not have to do anything to make this work.
Hi Paulius are you sure ? Do you have any documentation to share please?

cpt_ri_F5 The closest document I can find is the one below.

I can assure you that that is the normal behavior because this is something I deal with on a regular basis in the thousands of F5s that I have configured. The only time this isn't normal behavior is when you have F5 interfaces in a LAG which then requires you to create the HA group previously mentioned and then tuning it to have the appropriate behavior when an interface goes down in the LAG.

Paulius,
As indicated in my first message, my interfaces are in a LAG (Trunk-IN and Trunk-OUT)
I can't use the HA group, because the trunk sees 2 bundles not 8 interfaces.
- Trunk-IN : Bundles-1 (1.1 to 1.4) + Bundles-2 (1.5 to 1.8)
- Trunk-OUT : Bundles-1 (1.9 to 1.12) + Bundles-2 (1.13 to 1.16)Thank you

cpt_ri_F5 As stated previously, you create the HA group and then tune how you adjust the failover value so that when an interface in either LAG goes down the failover is incremented beyond the appropriate failover threshold causing a failover event when 1 interface goes down. You are looking to modify the "Score Contribution" value to achieve the desired result.
