Failover - Floating ip - no traffic

Hello , i have a F5 HA pair F51(active) - self - 192.168.X.100 floating - 192.168.X.102

(NOT USING MAC MASQURADING) F52(stabdby) - self - 192.168.X.101 floating - 192.168.X.102
when i fail over to F52 it starts sending ARP and does not get any data back from the backend server - Monitors remain up as the self ip gets traffic

ethertype 802.1Q (0x8100), length 71: vlan 121, p 0, ethertype ARP, Ethernet(len 6), IPv4 (len 4),Reply

i checked the arp table on the server and it updates to the secondary device MAC - but still no traffic going to back end servers

any help would be appreciated regards M.

  • Hi,

Can you verify in your floating IP (Network ›› Self IPs) that you set the Traffic Group to "Traffic-group-1 (floating)"

    keep me update.
