Failing Password Change

Interestingly, I do not see the dialog box referenced in the article you linked to.

 

 

However I did get this to change. Since there was no network cable and I wasn't close to the console port, I had to use this fancy IP-based console connection software which I was connected to while changing the password. However today I connected directly to the management interface, and that allowed me to change the password. I did notice after looking more closely that I skip right past the second password prompt when using the IP-console. This funky console software must be adding some characters at the end.

 

 

Anyway it's resolved.
