Failed to convert character on mht files

Hey Guys,

Looking for some in help here. I am having an issue where the asm is blocking all mht files based on the 'Failed to convert character' setting. It appears that this file type does not use utf-8 encoding while the rest of the site does. We would rather not unblock 'Failed to convert character' for the entire site. We already have a sepperate policy that has this setting off for specific URIs, but these MHTs could be uploaded to many diffrent URIs as the site it based on Windows Sharepoint and specifically allows users to upload content. Has anyone run into something similar? Any thoughts on how I can allow this specific file type to pass without unblocking 'Failed to convert character' for the entire site?

Please check out relevant solutions on askf5 (SOL7007 and SOL7921) - if your application is defined with an encoding other then UTF-8 a UTF-8 string should still be considered valid. Can you provide more information on the scenario where this is seen?

    Thanks,
