Dec 27, 2012F5 Viprion Wild mask virtual not forwarding traffic
Dears,
anyone faced this behavour with F5 viprion , we have two chassis with vcmp enabled , we had created a virtual L.B , the active/standby failover is using traffic group . box works fine but sometime customer complain that they cant access x server behind the L.B , everything looks fine and active / standby status ok .
what we figure out is like the IP forwarding is not working , a workaround is to force standby to other unit and it works !
any clue :(

Can you clarify exactly what this means and results in please: "they cant access x server behind the L.B"
And also let us know what TMOS version you are running? - Hamish

You're not routing asymetrically are you? Perhaps the server that can't be contacted is using the IP address of the second unit for the gateway instead of the floating selfip?
