Can someone please explain advantages of performing therapeutic reboot of F5 devices (11.x and 12.x) 

 

Few advantages are:

 

Tmm, bcm56xxd or daemons will not crash. The lacpd daemon stops sending LACP messages and which will cause VLAN failsafe (it will get fixed if we reboot the devices). The performance graphs no longer display wrong data. If we are not rebooting devices SCCP kernel driver timer wrap may cause system component health misreading's. Linux uptime counter wraps if device is up from more days Clearing stale SSL transcations

 

Any other advantages?
