F5 Pack for SharePoint 2016

Hi, Very new to F5, and looking into what the SP2016 performance pack could bring to the organisation. (we currently have F5 in the org, but specifically want to know more about the SP2016 pack would provide, and if it's worth enabling/implementing)? I read one of the pre-reqs was The SharePoint web application must be configured for Kerberos authentication. So it simply will not work if we are using NTLM, any work-around if that is case?
