F5 memory for a LTM 3400

I have an F5 LTM 3400, I need to upgrade memory to 2GB to run 10.x. What memory do I need PC133?

  • I'm curious if there is a F5 SKU for a memory upgrade, as one of the platform guides for the 3400 states the memory is expandable.

If you decide to do it yourself: Opening the chassis of your F5 will likely void the warranty.

That said, since the device is likely out of warranty, the definitive way to tell is to open the unit and look at the existing memory. Based on the CPU (Pentium 4 2.8GHz) using a 533Mhz FSB, that makes it look like you would want PC2-4200 memory.

Keep in mind that TMOS may not accept additional memory beyond 2GB.
