What type of NIC teaming configuration are your servers using? I believe in the HP teaming setup you can see this by selecting the team in the main screen and clicking "Properties". The two I'm interested in are "Team Type Selection" and "Transmit Load Balancing Method".

 

 

I'm not saying this is necessarily incorrect, but it may contribute depending on the setting.
