F5 Lab edition: shell prompts shows "ModuleNotLicensed" ?

Hi out there at last I got a lab licese for my VE on my labtop - but the prompt tells me "ModuleNotLicensed" - I expect that this is because of the APM module which as far as I can see is running without a license and then gives me a reduced 10 user license - is this correct or could there have occured an error when I licensed the modules - here is output from tmsh:

root@(bigip1)(cfg-sync Standalone)(ModuleNotLicensed:Active)(/Common)(tmos.sys) show license

  • Turn off APM, see whether it disappears. It makes sense for it to be this though - I have seen this message myself.

ps - tried it and yes - the notice did disappear - and also the apm module...

  • you use APM in limited mode, that causes it, doesnt hurt the system further.
