F5 iAPP Exchange 1.40.rc2 OWA

I currently have Exchange 2013 SP1 installed in my environment and I'm trying to use the iAPP templated. Everything works except that I have to choose Exchange 2010 as the version even though I'm running 2013. OWA simply redirects me back to the home page even though I authenticated properly. I have picked Re-encrypt the traffic to the CAS servers.

Do I have an issue with the SSL connection back to the server?

  • There are a number of threads on here that seem to deal with this issue. From my understanding, Exchange 2013 doesn't require persistence to be configured (see this article: http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange/archive/2014/03/05/load-balancing-in-exchange-2013.aspx ).

We have recently implemented Exchange 2013. I used the iApp also and encountered the same issue that you seem to have. I'm not sure if the Exchange admins mis-configured something (lets not go there...) but i ended up having to set a persistence profile to get OWA working correctly.

    Hope this helps you..

  • Thanks Ryan. It's good to know I'm not alone. I sent over the F5 doc to the exchange admins, so I'm at their mercy in regards to them following it to the "t". I will try your suggestion. Thanks!
