F5 GTM load balancing IPSEC traffic.

GTM would only handle resolution of DNS queries. No IPSec encrypted packets should be arriving at GTM.

 

Can you elaborate a bit more on your setup?

Sorry for a delay in response, please find the exact question below.

 

To load balance IPsec VPN tunnels, it’s a site to site tunnel between windows 2008 and checkpoint firewall. We need to load balance between 4 checkpoint firewalls.

 

1. Which appliance will be used LTM or GTM.
2. What will be the tunnel destination for the Site to Site tunnel initiated by Windows 2008.
3. How would the BIG IP appliance load balance between the checkpoint firewalls.
