f5 cannot select the server in cluster

Dear All,

 

 

I need some help

 

i have a net configuration like below :

 

 

CLIENT --- ROUTER --- F5 --- Internet

 

| ^

 

| |

 

v |

 

Server

 

 

From that diagram i will set which server will optimize the client connection to internet, but now the isssue shown f5 cannot select which server will serve client to connect to internet.

 

 

please advise what step must i set.

 

 

what i'm doing now :

 

1. Add the ip routing add f5 to foward all traffic come from client to ingress f5 then at server i add route command to send back all packet to IP ingress when packet come from internet..

 

 

Need a guide.
