NimbostratusF5 ASM Exchange template with DLP ?!
Hi Experts,
I see there is a template for ASM policy for OWA/ Exchange2013. Does that include all the DLP features?
You all being experts, could you please suggest if the F5 ASM policy is more than enough to protect the exchange environment and we don't need any other third party DLP tool ??
Also, would you please suggest me the features on ASM which are competing with the other security products.

Every feature on ASM is probably going to be in competition with someone somewhere. If you contact your sales rep he can likely show you how we are competitive with various other vendors. They will also be best able to go over your needs and explain to you how the ASM fits into your environment.

As fair warning, though, Data Loss Prevention is not the primary purpose of the ASM. The ASM is a web application Firewall, and is intended to protect your Exchange Server (or other HTTP server) from malicious traffic. It does have features to prevent accidental exfiltration of sensitive data (dataguard), but this is not the primary feature of the product.

ASM is not a replacement for DLP, you still need DLP infra if your business requires. We do have both in our environment. DLP is extremely sensitive in Banking/Finance, Defense industry.
