F5 3900 and SharePoint 2013

Hello,

 

I'm new to F5 and need a guidance for supporting a extranet solution for SharePoint environment. Currently we have BIG-IP 3900 with LTM and ASM modules licensed for our environment. I was wondering if 3900 series does support modules (APM or anything else) for for pre-authentication against Azure AD.

 

Is there any other module we can leverage for AD authentication by utilizing the current hardware?

    APM is the module you would need for authentication. Your existing 3900's should be able to support.

     

    APM supports multiple forms of authentication, including SAML 2.0 which is supported in AzureAD. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/azure/dn195589.aspx
