Exchange 2010,2013 New iApp Template

I see the new f5.microsoft_exchange_2010_2013_cas.v1.3.0.tmpl is available now. When I upload to my LTM do I use overwite the existing template and it will apply the updates to my existing setup in use with the v1.2.0?

    You should not have to overwrite, since v1.3.0 is not in your template list yet. After you load the template, enter your iApp and go to the "Reconfigure" tab. The template window will read "f5.microsoft_exchange_2010_2013_cas.v1.2.0". Click the "Change" button and re-parent the iApp to the newly loaded v1.3.0 template. Click "Finished".

    When you import the f5.microsoft_exchange_2010_2013_cas.v1.3.0.tmpl to your BIG-IP, it should be a new template (it has a different name than 1.2 so it shouldn't overwrite).

     

    Once v1.3 is on your system, go to your v1.2 controlled iApp Service and re-target to v1.3. After you do this and click "Finished", your configuration will now be governed by the new template with the answers you entered into the v1.2 iApp. We recommend doing this re-targeting during a maintenance window to minimize impact to your users.
