Even though your log messages don't exactly match, it appears that this can still be the cause. If this does not appear to be the issue, I recommend opening an F5 Support case.

EmployeeThat iRule certainly needs the http profile (because it hooks the HTTP_REQUEST and HTTP::redirect command). Did you have the VS type set to "Performance (HTTP)" without an http profile? At this point, I'm just curious :).
