Aug 28, 2009Error between install
The problem begin when i use .ucs from F5 v9.4.5 to upload on F5 v9.2.2.76.6. After upload finished and reboot, i cannot login to the F5 LTM any more.(it show login prompt on command line but cannot login) so i try to reset password but it shown as cannot connect to mcp server. So I try to install new software on this LTM 6400 again with the same version (9.2.2.76.6) by using PXE method to CF Card and it shown the error between transfer
Results will be sent to install log /var/log/install.log.

I had received the EXACT same error about 6 months ago. I recommend performing an EUD Diagnostic and capturing the results and opening a case with F5. In my case it turned out to be a failure on a hardware controller that manages the internal storage of the LTM - which resulted in an RMA. - beejung_111535

I think F5 support might have several different options that you can try such as a low level format, but I believe they know the exact commands. - beejung_111535

Did you try to install it on the HD partitions? What about using USB installation? - beejung_111535
