Enable / Disable iRule

Hi,

 

 

I am wondering if anyone has written anything to either enable / dibable an iRule without having to to access the console or the iRule editor.

 

 

I'd like to create a page with some radio button or check boxes that will either eable or disable an iRule for a specific VIP.

 

 

Any ideas or suggestions?

    That is indeed a perfect job for iControl! If you're looking to enable/disable certain events within an iRule, you could use the event disable or event enable commands. But for turning on/off entire iRules, then iControl is going to be the way to go, for sure.
