Jun 05, 2008Eclipse and the Client API
Hi Everybody,
Got a problem with the F5 and an integrated dev environment that I'm using. I, along with a bunch of developers, are trying to use the Eclipse IDE with a subversion plugin to talk to a web application over port 443 through the F5. My plan of attack is to use the client api to allow eclipse to talk to the web application through the F5. Now, am I asking in the right forum on how to do this? Or should I be asking this question in the client integration forum. If this is the correct forum, how do I integrate the IDE with the client api because the IDE is written in Java and the Client api has bindings to C, VB, VB.NET, and C++?
Thanks,
Tino
- The FirePass client is a Win32 COM control. I don't have much experience with Java to COM bridges but I do know they exist. As far as I know, nobody has tried it with the FirePass client API. If you get it working, please post details and we'll write it up for others.
