Dual Persistence

Looking at the best way to setup dual persistence.

We need to use the same url so we are switching on path between static server pools and dynamic server pools

We need to be able to assign a user to a member in each pool for pesistence, but its at the same domain. This causes issues because the serverip cookie keeps getting overwritten.

Can you have a pool or irule change the cookie it is looking for for persistence? like ServerIP2?

The other idea is to catch the cookie being set for the static, rename it to ServerIP2, then on the way in if it matches the static rule swap ServerIP2 if it exists to ServerIP and have it use that for picking the pool? just not sure timing wise if that will work.

Any Help/Ideas would be appreciated.

As Spark pointed out recently, you can do this with one default cookie insert persistence profile:

One VS, 2 pools, separate persistence
