DSR set-up

I am sure some people must have tried the DSR setup in their network. Is their something that has not been known about it but is mandatory for this implementation to work. Things that I know is that, the SNAT is not chosen, loopback ip on the physical server is from the same range as that of the VIP ip,etc. Have found the documents:- https://devcentral.f5.com/questions/npath-direct-server-return-and-stateful-firewalls-a-solution-for-linux-pool-members-48470
