Domain name information in Analytics statistics
Hi there,
I would like to ask, whether I'm missing something here with Analytics profile, or the stats do not include the domain name.
I would not mind, but I have in a Pool of web servers which host more than one webpage. Now I get URLs mixed all together in the stats and cannot tell which URL belongs to which domain...
Thank you.
Jozef

Can you sort by applications when you expand on Advanced filter list? (this can prob help with url's that are pointing to the app)

Hello, Not sure I understand the whole "Applications" concept. I have only "" record in that list. Hence cannot sort.

Does each website have its own virtual server, or are you sharing one virtual server for all sites? you should be able to drill down into a VS, which will allow you to see stats associated with only that VS

That's the thing: I have more VS, but this particular server hosts more applications on one server. I know I can drill down to one VS, that's not a problem. This is more academic question. I know that in enterprise solutions you have one Application per VS. I was just wondering, whether it is not possible to see the domain name. Thanks anyway... - shaggy_121467

HTTP host values aren't collected in analytics data unless you are using analytics capture, in which the entire request (and response, if configured) is captured. The only HTTP request header collected by non-capture analytics profiles (as far as I know as of 11.5.0) is user-agent-string.

Hey Shaggy,
I got the same problem with AVR and OP as the OP. I get capturing turned in my logging profile for AVR and I still dont see the domain name in the stats. Like the OP, I host many websites on a single VIP and all I see in the stats is the URI. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Kevin
