Jan 23, 2018Does any have examples of using x-correlation-ID in an iRule?
We have a request to forward x-correlation-ID to the back end servers. Does anyone have an example of an iRule using this?

Jan 23, 2018Based on Wikipedia:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_HTTP_header_fields
X-Request-ID and X-Correlation-ID are the same, and Wikipedia points to this link in relation to that:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/25433258/what-is-the-x-request-id-http-header
Based on that, that is is something the client creates, based on a logic the server will send to the customer (I'm assuming that part). So, for F5, that is just another header F5 passed from the client to the server.
No iRule needed in that case, and no extra configuration in the F5.
