Apr 07, 2008I am not exactly sure about this but I think believe the following link Click here will tell you which daemons are restarted and loaded into memory. If you adjusted any config file what is suggested in the link, I suppose the answer is yes you do a bigstart restart.
In my personal opinion I usually do a reboot if I adjusted something manually in the known config files, just I know my edits are not trumping any necessary order-of-process loading the bigip has to do.
