DNS view zone forward to AD

I am creating a DNS view so that specific clients get returned a different A record from zone, so the F5 GTM will have a subset of the entire zone which lives on another DNS server. Most clients will point to Active Directory for DNS while a few will point to the F5. The GTM will forward to the AD DNS servers If I do not create any zones on the F5 forwarding works fine (I have it in my named config. I have the view created with the appropriate ACL but when ever I create a zone within the VIEW it wants to be authoratative for the zone so only the A record I create is returned when what I want is it to forward the request on. Can someone point me in the right direction?

    If I created a view (with the appropriate ACL) and then within that view create a zone with the name of the A record I want to manipulate I get the desired effect. Is there are better way than this?
