dns resolve issue on VPN - ios 9.3 - F5 edge client 2.0.9

Hi, We are currently using edgeclient for VPN on ios 9.3.1 and also on ios 8.4. When we access a certain internal URL on 8.4 device it resolves over VPN successfully. We can see it hitting F5 and getting resolved. But the same internal URL when accessed on 9.3.1 device over VPN gives us a message in safari browser saying "safari cannot open the page because the server cannot be found". The version of edge client is same(2.0.9) on both the devices. We do have split tunneling enabled and have listed the URL in question to the DNS name list.

The question we have is since the same setup is working fine on 8.x device and not on 9.x ios device, is this an issue with ios or an issue with the edge client on 9.x versions? Really appreciate your thoughts.
