If your using dns to load balance say approx 4 servers, what load balance technique would be used? Round robin or Ratio etc and if so with any simple persistence or without?. Thanks

Are you load balancing DNS queries ? or are you talking about how DNS system provides the answer when there are multiple possible DNS responses for a DNS query ?
