DNS Fail-over "as-a-service"
I have a situation where we need to provide application fail-over. The environment and limited application count make it a hard sell for GTM, so I was looking for some type of cloud service that can monitor the service(s) and update DNS records accordingly.
This resiliency will be between ISPs at a local data center, but also between geographical data centers.
Based on my research, it looks like F5 DNS Cloud Service can do this:

Unfortunately I'm hearing conflicting data that this F5 service isn't meant for this type of use-case. Can anyone confirm?

I think you want DNS Load Balancer which is effectively gtm-as-a-service

Thanks Pete. I believe we are talking about the same thing since that site is linked of my first link.
This gtm-as-a-service should support what I am doing, correct?

- yes, the DNS Load Balancer can accomplish that for you. You'd have a Load Balancing Record that uses a different pool to each ISP connection. You can prefer the first ISP and failover to the secondary if the health monitor fails on the primary.
