disable address/port from all pools?

Is there a way to tell the BigIP to disable one service (port) from a machine in all the pools it might be in without knowing the pool names and without disabling other ports that might still be active from that IP address? I'd like to make the scripts that start and stop a program also gracefully add and remove itself from the working pool with some appropriate delays for initialization and response completition.
