Difference between 2010 and 2016 iApp

the question is more what is the difference between Exchange 2010 and 2016. the iApp is tailored to work with the corresponding version of Exchange. so if you use the Exchange 2010 iApp with Exchange 2016 servers then you wont be using the Exchange 2016 features correctly because the iApp isn't providing the configuration for that.

issues i can think of are for example on the SSO to OWA, the use of true RPC in 2010 which is gone in 2016, problem with o365 hybrid.
