Determining Virtual Server Type

Is there a way for me to determine whether a virtual server in a WideIP pool is pointing to a BIG-IP device without actually having to connect to the virtual server address?

    Currently there is no direct way to query a virtual server's type in a WideIP's configuration. To get at it indirectly, you would have to query the servers via the BaseServer interface and from there query all the virtual servers within that server and check for a match on the virtual you are looking for to determine whether it belongs to a server of type BIG-IP.
