Jun 19, 2013Determining the exact time a health monitor runs at
Hi
I am trying to find out a way of determining the exact time a health monitor runs at. A particular TCP health monitor in our environment is configured to run every 600 seconds and I would like to determine exactly when it runs. Is this possible?
Thanks

is it for short term? if so, you can run tcpdump using non-floating selfip and pool member ip as a filter or turn on bigd debug. in case of bigd, please make sure you turn debug off then. - Adam_3360

Hi. I am running tcpdump but I am having trouble determining the real traffic from the health monitor traffic. This is a single LTM unit so I am using the self IP as the source IP address and the node IP as the destination IP address. Is there any specific filters I should be applying to help determine the health monitor traffic from the real traffic? All traffic is made on port 8006.
Thanks
