On a load balancer, when I go to:
Local Traffic -> Nodes -> Default Monitor
I can set up a default monitor for my nodes.
How do I do the same in iControl?

I would just state that the method is not working correctly and that it should ignore the address field when the ATYPE_STAR_ADDRESS option is selected.
