DB variable route.metrics.maxentries

Hi!

 

Saw this variable in the DB the other day. Would anyone know if this enforces static routes as well as dynamic ones?

 

We don't use any dynamic routing so I have no way of knowing. Feel free to speculate, but please stick to the comments section if you're doing so. :)

    I got an answer from F5 regarding this. The route usage that counts to towards this limit is 

    dynamic routes + static routes
    .

    Also, if 

    route.metrics.maxentries
    is set to 
    "0"
    , it means that the upper limit is 
    2880
    routes regardless of platform, not infinite. There is currently no KB article to support this.
