Data-Group for URIs
Hi experts, we are running LTM ver 11.5.1 hf7. I was wondering if I can create a data-group type "string" to add a bunch of URIs in it and then refer the data-group in an iRule. For example, i plan to add the following URIs - /services/* , /products/*... and a few more with a wildcard in the end. So my question is - will this work if there is a wildcard * ?
thnx

Hello,
This is the way you call your data-group within an irule that trig how you should define it. In your case, it looks like you don't need to use the wildcard. Just call your dg this way :
class match [HTTP::uri] starts_with image_classYou can use the following operators : equals, starts_with, ends_with, contains
You can very well create a data-group of type string for having all the URLs and with wildcard it sure will work.
