current connections and 64bit values

How do I properly interpret the current connections onthe BIGIp? There is a high and low value, how can I convert this to a value I can use in c?     thanks

Current connections is point-in-time connections currently established, in a 64 bit number. The High and Low are the High and Low DWORD of the 64 bit number.
