Creating brand new Pools and nodes show green/ pools show Red
I am an F5 newbie trying to use the 90-day trial along with CBT Nuggets to become somewhat an intermediate admin of the F5 system for now. Here is my issue.
•The trial version is 11.3 •I have created 3 nodes with internal IPs of 10.2.0.11/24, 10.2.0.22/24, 10.2.0.33/24 •The F5 internal Self IP is 10.2.0.145/24 •These are all on the default interface of 1.2 •I can ping the 3 test app servers from the F5 CLI fine as well as telnet using port 80. I can also plug the IPs in my web browser and get a response just fine. •The nodes are setup with ICMP monitor and they show up green, but when I look at the pool I created (Our-HTTP-Pool) it shows up as red. Indicates the children pool members are down. I am using health monitor http for this. I am banging my head and can’t find anything in logs either. •Please let me know if I should add any more info. Like I stated, I am brand new and trying to figure this out so I may have left something out. Thank you for any help you can provide.

A couple of things, the default HTTP monitor users HTTP version 0.9, rather than 1.0 or 1.1. You could try and change the monitor to use either of the later versions of http, see Constructing HTTP requests for use with the HTTP or HTTPS application health monitor
Also, what happens if you do tcpdump, does this give any clues?
tcpdump -nni 0.0 -s0 host x.x.x.x and port 80
Hope this helps,
