Create a VS on GTM only pointing to a physical server

Hi folks,

 

I have always used GTM and LTM combined. I now have a reason to ignore the LTM and configure my GTM to DNS load balance across two datacenters, with a single server at each datacenter.

 

GTM01 -Web01 Pvt:10.10.50.1, Pub:5.5.50.1 (physical server) -GTM: GSLB>Server>www1.site.com

 

GTM02 -Web02 Pvt:10.20.50.1, Pub:5.10.50.1 (physical server) -- 5.10.50.1 (sample public IP) -GTM: GSLB>Server>www2.site.com

 

Now, where I am stuck is the GTM config. I know to create a new Generic Host type of Server under: GSLB>Server>Server List, but what IPA do I use for it? (ie: LTM's use their own Self IP)

 

Then, under that new Server object, does the Virtual Server I create do the normal Address/Translation as the Public/Private address?
