Create a basic LTM VIP through API?

Hi,

 

We have a requirement to automate the creation of VIPs through APIs. however I'm new to using APIs and all documents are very confusing.

 

What language I can use to create APIs? I'm looking for a document that will tell me how to create a VIP or if there is a script already so that I can get an idea?

 

Can someone provide me with a sample script?
