Cookie session persistence after restart browser or reboot client
Dear specialists,
Just a simple theoretical question.
I don't have a lot of experience with cookie persistence but I understand how it works. Like normally the session cookie is inserted by the Big IP and will be stored in the clients memory of the browser. After a restart of the browser the persistence normally does not work because the cookie will be gone.
Is there a way the remain the persistence after a restart of the browser or reboot of the client using cookie persistence?

In the cookie persistence profile you can optionally specify how long the cookie will last. This will preserve the cookie until that amount of time has expired.

OK but will it last after a reboot of the client or restart of the browser? So if you dont specify the expiration time the cookie will be gone after a restart and if you do specify it will remain in the client until it expires?

So I guess when using the expiration timer the cookie is saved in disk instead of memory when using session cookie persistence.
