Cookie Expire in iRule

Hi, The iRule i have is setting the cookie expire in past "expires=Thu, 01-Jan-1970 00:00:00 GMT" What is the meaning of it? Does it means cookie does not expires or cookie already expired ? Thanks in advance, Pradeep K

    It means it's already expired. Using a past-date is a way of an iRule to effectively expire a cookie.
